As part of the TRACE project there is going to be a parkour/freerunning film festival at the Broadway Cinema in Nottingham on 25th March. International submissions are accepted so you don’t have to live in the UK to submit. The judges panel at the moment will be myself, Philip Hunter, Joe O’Brien and James Parrish.
Guidelines for entry:
• Films should be 5 – 10 minutes long and show the skill and creativity of both the film-maker and the freerunner(s)• Be original and be cinematic - think about what will make your film stand out on the big screen!
• To enter please send your film by post on DVD (as a Quicktime file) or by emailing URL web links to o.davies@broadway.org.uk
• Clearly label your entry with your contact details and role in the film
• If your film is successful we will notify you by email. Please note - we will then need a high-quality master version of each film for the screening (a Quicktime file - on Mini DV or as a DVD)
• Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for returning any of the submitted films.
All selected films will be shown at Broadway on Sunday 25th March – more details coming soon

For those of you who also enjoy parkour.
I’m trying very hard to keep the queue filled and whatnot, but just as a forewarning:
This weekend. Is going to be. Insane.
And not in a fun way!
SO, if the queue runs out, fear not, you’ll have me back by Monday (knock on wood).
This is just in case it does run out; this is no guarantee.
